The Role

Config is building the data and model layer for real-world robotic automation. We develop scalable data infrastructure and robot foundation models for bimanual manipulation, helping customers automate complex physical tasks faster.

We are already working with multiple enterprise customers, including Fortune Global 500 companies, to bring robot foundation models from research into real-world production environments.

As a GTM Lead at Config, you will own our go-to-market motion end-to-end: identifying and engaging enterprise customers, navigating technical evaluations with their R&D and automation teams, and turning frontier robotics technology into deployed, revenue-generating partnerships. You will be the commercial face of Config to some of the world's most sophisticated manufacturers and enterprises.

This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of sales, strategy, product, and deep technology. Our product is technically sophisticated and our buyers are technically demanding — much of the work is earning the trust of enterprise R&D and engineering teams, understanding their automation problems deeply, and translating Config's capabilities into a clear, credible case for adoption. You will work closely with Product, Technology, and Forward-Deployed Engineering teams, and you will build the GTM playbook that the rest of the commercial organization will scale on.

Areas You May Contribute To

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle — prospecting, qualification, technical evaluation, negotiation, and close — with sophisticated B2B customers.
  • Engage stakeholders across the customer organization, from R&D and automation engineers to plant leadership and executives, and tailor Config's value to each audience.
  • Lead technical discovery: understand the customer's manufacturing and automation tasks, and map them to Config's data and model capabilities.
  • Partner with Forward-Deployed Engineering and Product/Technology teams to scope and run PoCs, pilots, and production deployments.
  • Translate a deeply technical product into clear commercial narratives, proposals, and ROI cases that resonate with enterprise R&D and decision-makers.
  • Build and refine Config's GTM playbook — pricing, packaging, sales collateral, and repeatable processes.
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts and partnerships, including large manufacturers and system integrators.
  • Represent Config in customer meetings, industry events, and with enterprise and government partners.
  • Maintain pipeline and forecasting in the CRM, and feed market and customer signal back to Product and Research.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record owning complex, technical B2B or enterprise sales / business development cycles.
  • Comfort engaging deeply technical stakeholders — including R&D and engineering teams — and earning their trust as a credible counterpart.
  • Ability to quickly understand a sophisticated, frontier-technology product and communicate it clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong ownership and the ability to build process and structure from scratch in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building across cultures and levels of seniority.
  • Fluency in both Korean and English.

Bonus Points

  • A technical background or degree (engineering, computer science, robotics, ML) — enough to go deep with customer R&D teams. This is often very important for the role given how technical the product and the buyers are.
  • Experience selling or deploying robotics, automation, industrial hardware, or AI/ML products into enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, electronics, or industrial enterprises.
  • An existing network among enterprise manufacturers, system integrators, or the broader robotics ecosystem.
  • Prior startup experience, or experience as an early / founding GTM hire.
  • Familiarity with modern CRM and GTM tooling.
