This Privacy Policy describes how Config Intelligence Inc. and 컨피그인텔리전스코리아 주식회사 (Config Intelligence Korea) (together, "Config," "we," "our," or "us") collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at config.inc, use Config Loop, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

About Config

Config builds robotics intelligence. We provide robotics model training datasets, access to the Config Foundation Model (Robotics Foundation Model, or "RFM"), and the Config Loop platform for end-to-end robotics workflows including scenario design, data collection, training, inference, and evaluation.

Geographic Scope

Our Services are intended for users in the United States and the Republic of Korea. We do not currently target users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact Form Submissions: When you submit an inquiry through the contact form on config.inc, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your question (required), and your company or affiliation and any attachments (optional).
  • Config Loop Account Information: When you sign up for Config Loop, we collect your name, email address, and company or affiliation. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account.
  • Customer Content: While using Config Loop, you may upload scenarios, datasets, recordings, evaluation results, and other project content. We treat this as your data and process it solely to provide the Services.
  • Usage and Device Information: We collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and timestamps, primarily through cookies and analytics tools.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. We may use third-party analytics providers to help us measure traffic and improve our products. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect parts of the Services.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To Respond to Inquiries: To reply to questions submitted through the contact form.
  • Account and Service Operation: To create, operate, and secure your Config Loop account, including authenticating you and associating you with your workspace.
  • Service Improvement: To provide, maintain, and improve our Services and develop new features.
  • Communication: To send transactional and service-related communications such as account verification, password reset, security alerts, and material changes to these documents.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Within Your Workspace: If you join a Config Loop workspace, your name, email, company, and activity within that workspace may be visible to other workspace members and administrators.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party providers to help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics. They may access your information only to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated to protect it.
  • Affiliates: We may share information between Config Intelligence Inc. and 컨피그인텔리전스코리아 주식회사 (Config Intelligence Korea) for the purposes described in this Policy.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Config, our users, or others.
  • Business Transfers: If Config is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Measures We Take:

  • Secure data storage using encrypted servers and access controls.
  • HTTPS and TLS encryption for data transmission.
  • Access controls to limit who can access personal data internally.

Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions: retained for up to 24 months from receipt unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention.
  • Config Loop account information: retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account closure, after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where longer retention is required by law.
  • Customer Content: retained while your account is active and deleted on a rolling basis after account closure or upon your request, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal obligations.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.

Korean users have additional rights under the Personal Information Protection Act ("PIPA"), including rights of access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the Site or by email where appropriate.
