Korea's Config opens a human data factory in Vietnam

Business Korea reports on Config's dedicated "human data factory" in Hanoi, where roughly 300 local workers wear cameras and specialized equipment to perform repetitive manipulation tasks — object handling, transfers — that are captured as motion data for training robot foundation models.

By collecting data in-house at scale, the facility had amassed more than 100,000 hours of behavioral data and can generate around 5,000 hours per week, letting Config produce customized datasets for manufacturers building humanoid and industrial robots.
