LG CNS taps Config to power its robot-transformation consulting business

LG CNS launched an RX (Robot Transformation) Innovation Lab to build out its robotics consulting business, and named Config as a strategic partner for industry-specific robot foundation models (RFMs). The report identifies Config as the RFM company focused on humanoid dual-arm control, alongside U.S. robot-brain developer Skild AI.

The tie-up positions Config's foundation models inside LG CNS's enterprise robot deployments — a signal that Korea's large system integrators are building their robotics offerings on top of Config's data and model layer rather than developing it in-house.
