Robots that step aside for people: Inside the AWS Summit's 'Physical AI Zone'

At AWS Summit Seoul 2026 — now in its 12th year and drawing a record 25,000 attendees — three Korean physical-AI startups took center stage in AWS's dedicated "Physical AI Zone": Config, Loai, and Neubility.

Config demonstrated a collaborative robot sorting recyclables alongside human workers, illustrating its thesis that robots should adapt to human workflows and safety, not the other way around. AWS Korea positioned the trio as proof points for Korea's emerging role in the global physical-AI ecosystem.
